Community Guidelines
Effective date: September 13, 2026
Par’d Up works because golfers trust the person on the other side of the tee sheet. These guidelines apply to everything you do on the Service: profiles, photos, messages, message requests, game posts, and group chats.
Be respectful
Treat other golfers the way you’d want to be treated as a walk-on single joining a group of strangers. Courtesy on the app is course etiquette off it.
Use Par’d Up for golf coordination only
Every feature exists to organize rounds of golf. Recruiting for unrelated businesses, mass-messaging, or using the community for anything other than golf coordination is out of bounds.
No dating or intimate solicitation
Par’d Up is not a dating app. Romantic pursuit, flirtatious pressure, requests for dates, and any intimate solicitation are prohibited and enforced by moderation, even if phrased as a joke.
No explicit content
No sexually explicit, pornographic, or graphically violent content anywhere: photos, bios, usernames, messages, or game posts.
No harassment
No bullying, threats, stalking, unwanted repeated contact, or contacting someone who has blocked you through other means. If someone declines a request, let it go.
No hate
No hateful conduct or slurs targeting race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age. Golf is for everyone.
No gambling or wagers
Do not use Par’d Up to arrange bets or wagers of any kind, including money games, skins for cash, or side bets. “Skins-style” formats on the game board are for scorekeeping and bragging rights only.
No scams
No phishing, fake profiles, payment requests, cryptocurrency pitches, ticket resale schemes, or any attempt to move users to another platform to extract money or data.
No unsafe behavior
Meet at public golf facilities. Do not pressure anyone, especially minors, to share home addresses, precise locations, or to meet outside a golf setting. Do not show up to a round impaired or encourage dangerous behavior on the course.
No impersonation
Be yourself. No impersonating other people, courses, brands, or Par’d Up staff, and no misrepresenting your identity or age.
Report and block tools
Every profile, post, comment, story, message, and game post includes report and block actions. Blocking removes the person from your entire experience immediately. Reports go to a human moderation team with an audit trail and are reviewed within 24 hours. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior; we act on reports with warnings, content removal, feature restrictions, suspension, or permanent bans depending on severity. Deliberately false reports are themselves a violation.
These guidelines work alongside our Terms of Service and Youth Safety Policy. When in doubt: if it wouldn’t fly with a starter watching, it doesn’t fly here.
